Using Launch Monitor & Video Analysis
We are at the forefront of golfing technology and are the only club to have the GC2 and HMT launch monitor in the local area.
What is a GC2 launch monitor and how can it benefit my game?
A launch monitor is an electronic device that measures various aspects of what happens to the golf ball when it is struck by a golf club. It can also be used to improve your swing as part of a lesson or to aid the custom fitting process when purchasing new clubs or adjusting current ones. The GC2 uses high-resolution cameras that capture up to 10,000 frames per second and state of the art image processing for reliable ball data. The stereoscopic camera system accurately analyses ball characteristics at the most critical point of measurement – club impact. The GC2 is used alongside HMT (head measurement technology) to precisely capture club data at the same time. With HMT you are able to see critical figures to improve your game such as club speed, club path, club face, smash factor, dynamic loft, lie and impact location.
All lessons booked with Matt or Simon include the use of our latest golf technology, this will allow you to understand your ball flight better and what you can do to control and improve it. By giving detailed access to parameters such as ball speed and launch angle we can adjust elements of your posture and swing.
We also use separate video analysis software alongside the GC2 and HMT so that we can pinpoint exactly what needs to be altered in your swing to improve your game.
